Zorongo is thrilled to join longtime artistic partner Juanito Pascual for two special performances at the Granada Theater!
Internationally acclaimed flamenco guitarist Juanito Pascual brings together the Juanito Pascual Trio — with Grammy-nominated percussionist Tupac Mantilla and bassist Brad Barrett — for A Flamenco Celebration of Jimi Hendrix.
The concert reimagines the music and spirit of Hendrix through the rhythm, improvisation, and fire of flamenco, bringing together two musical worlds in a completely different way.
For these special Minneapolis performances, Zorongo will perform two pieces with the Juanito Pascual Trio, choreographed by Resident Artistic Director Deborah Elias.
Juanito has been a longtime artistic partner of Zorongo, collaborating with the company over the years as a guitarist, composer, musical director, and performer. We’re excited to share the stage with him again for this special homecoming weekend.
