ABOUT THIS PERFORMANCE
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought us all time to explore our souls, reimagine life priorities, mourn losses on all levels, and question who we are or thought we were.
Zorongo dancers continued to study, rehearse and perform traditional flamenco dance diligently and passionately throughout this trying time. Yet each individual needed to explore the inner world of their imagination, which brought them to create original choreographies.
Expanding on traditional flamenco technique and form, these works bring forth personal inner reflections that, hopefully, will provoke, soothe and invigorate others.
Grace Holthaus, Amanda Dlouhy, Molly Stoltz, and Laura Horn will perform in their world-premiere works, directed by Zorongo Flamenco’s Artistic Director/Founder Susana di Palma. In addition, Di Palma herself will present and dance with Deborah Elias in her own choreographic work, which is a not-to-be-missed performance.
*Please read carefully the below statement from the Park Square Theatre before purchasing tickets.
